What's IncludedWe only stock outstanding boilers but these reasons are why the Baxi Main Eco Compact (30kW) Combi stands out:
If your boiler is serviced every year (CP12) and is still within it's guarantee, any issues will be repaired for free.
At Home Assist Repairs and Servicing, we only stock boilers that have a guarantee of at least 5 years so you can feel confident our installations will last.
If you want to keep your boiler guarantee choose one of our home cover plans after you book an installation.
Boiler energy efficiency is rated on the 'ErP' (Energy-related Products) scale. Since September 2015, manufacturers have been required to use energy-efficient parts wherever possible when designing boilers. This was introduced as part of EU regulation and makes sure new boiler products are not harmful to the environment.
The more energy-efficient a boiler is the more money you'll save on your heating bills!
At Home Assist Repairs and Servicing we only stock boilers with an ErP rating of A and above. Booking an installation with one of our boilers means your energy bills will be fair and you'll help protect the environment by using less fuel.
Boiler power is measured in kilowatts (kW). The more kilowatts a boiler has, the more hot water it can output at a given time.
Hot water that comes from your boiler is used for central heating (radiators) and domestic hot water (taps and showers).
The more powerful your boiler, the more hot water you can use at the same time.
For combi boilers, this means you'll be able to use more hot water taps when your heating is on.
For system and regular boilers, power is only used for central heating because hot water comes from a hot water storage tank (usually in an airing cupboard).
At Home Assist Repairs and Servicing, we don't recommend any boilers until you've answered our online quote questionnaire.
Once you've done our questionnaire we'll only recommend boilers that are suitable for your home.
There are 4 boiler types seen in UK households.
Combi boilers
Require no additional tanks to power domestic hot water (taps and showers) or central heating (radiators), saving storage space.
Are connected to the mains water supply and heat water on demand.
Regular boilers
Require an additional hot water tank (usually in an airing cupboard) to store hot water, and, an additional cold water tank (usually in the loft) to supply the boiler with water to heat.
Are more common in older homes and usually replaced with Combi boilers if broken
System boilers
Require an additional hot water tank (usually in an airing cupboard) to store hot water
Are connected to the mains water supply and heat water on demand.
Are usually preferred for larger homes that require a lot of hot water at any given time
Back boilers
Are suitated behind an open fire and use heat from the fire to power the central heating system
Are only found in older homes and are no longer replaced if broken
